The Windows version installation tips
With Windows 10 earlier there wasn't any problems, but after updates / upgrades to Windows,
and installing to quite fresh Windows installation these will at least help the installation succeed:
If you don't have it already download and install Firefox web-browser first, and use it to
download BVIdeoconverter Windows version from
https://repo.bittiainen.com/forwindows/ click Save the file to the harddisc, filename: BVideoconverter-2.0.5-Setup.exe
Once you have the file in the Downloads folder, it should start by double clcking it , but if not you can from Windows menu open the Windows PowerShell, in it write cd Downloads (press Enter)
write .\BVideoconverter-2.0.5-Setup.exe (Press Enter) Allow it to run as program, the setup should start and install the program.
Once BVideoconverter is installed:
When you are using the Free Trial version, there are some limitations: the converted videos are black and white /grayscale desturated and the Batch mode won't work and some other minor limitations. Once you buy the Pro license and import the e-mailed license file from Help menu choice Import License File, that instantly upgrades the version to Pro and there are no limitations after that.
In the new 2.0.5 version there are also buttons to Upgrade and Import License File.
