The Windows version installation tips
With Windows 10 earlier there wasn't any problems, but after updates / upgrades to Windows,
and installing to quite fresh Windows installation these will at least help the installation succeed:
If you don't have it already download and install Firefox web-browser first, and use it to
download BVIdeoconverter Windows version from
https://repo.bittiainen.com/forwindows/ click Save the file to harddisc, filename: BVideoconverter-2.0.5-Setup.exe
Once you have the file in the Downloads folder, from Windows menu it should start the install by double cliking the file, but if not open the Windows PowerShell, in it write cd Downloads (press Enter)
write dir (Press Enter) there should be visible also the BVideoconverter-2.0.5-Setup.exe file, if so then, in PowerShell
write .\BVideoconverter-2.0.5-Setup.exe (Press Enter) Allow it to run as program, the setup should start and install the program.
Once BVideoconverter is installed
When you are using the Free Trial version, there are some limitations: the converted videos are black and white /grayscale desturated and the Batch mode won't work and some other minor limitations. Once you buy the Pro license and import the e-mailed license file from Help menu choice Import License File or the Import License button, that instantly upgrades the version to Pro and there are no limitations after that.
